I love the flexibility of this leather cover. It folds back neatly, is light weight and the Kindle does not shift around inside it because it is clipped in and held fast. I dropped my Kindle yesterday on the driveway and it was not harmed because of this sturdy added protection.

I purchased this cover along with the Kindle about a month ago. Now there are many reviews for this item already so I might as well get to the point.
Pros
- I like the hard backing on the covers (front & back). It feels durable.
- The leather is sufficient. It's not expensive leather but it's suitable for the application.
- It's surprisingly very easy to install. Just align the hooks and slide in. You can't fail at putting this cover on the Kindle because there's this diagram plastic right in the cover.
- The front cover can be folded to the back.
Cons
- I'm not a particular fan of the hinge. It doesn't feel durable or sturdy here.
- When reading, I hold onto the Kindle and the back cover. I don't feel the hooks or cover itself can hold the Kindle without too much stress on the hinge.
- This is personal, but I don't like the soft suede-like material inside. I would've preferred a rougher material so I would have confidence I could grip the thing if I were to accidentally drop it.
Ultimately it deserves the very high score because it serves its purpose and it's relatively inexpensive. Not to mention I'm confident in its construction and durability. I would not trust it with kids. ;-)

My Kindle cover offers great protection for my Kindle. I made one trip before I got my cover and I was afraid the whole time that my Kindle would get messed up or damaged. I can take it on trips with no worries, now that I have my cover.

Feels classy to the touch. The way it is mounted to the Kindle is secure. Looks good and doesn't bulk it up so that it detracts from the slender design of the Kindle.
